John Cena

John Cena (full name John Felix Anthony Cena) was born on April 23, 1977 in West Newbury, Massachusetts, USA. He is a popular professional wrestler, actor and musician.

Biography and Career :

He had attended the Springfield College in Massachusetts. At first he was a bodybuilder but then discovered his real passion, wrestling. In the present he works for World Wrestling Entertainment or WWE and is a member of the Raw brand.

He became an Ohio Valley Wrestling Heavyweight Champion and Ohio Valley Wrestling Tag Team Champion with Rico Constantino. Before he entered the World Wrestling Entertainment he was part of Ultimate Pro Wrestling and Ohio Valley Wrestling.

After years and after he became a famous person he released a music album, "You Can't See Me" which was placed on

the 15th place in the US Billboard 200 chart in the first week.

He was seen in the movie "The Marine" and the shows "Manhunt", "Deal or No Deal", "MADtv" and "Punk'd". At the Fast Cars and Superstars: The Gillette Young Guns Celebrity Race contest he was one of the finalists. He is a great and successful man and his career is going just great.

John Cena ? il co-vincitore insieme a Chris Benoit di una Battle Royal, disputata nella puntata di Smackdown! del 27 novembre 2003, valevole per la title shot alla cintura del campione mondiale. Benoit e Cena si affrontano la settimana successiva per chiudere definitivamente la contesa e John Cena per pochi istanti sembra essere vincitore, salvo poi vedere annullata la decisione a suo favore perch? Benoit aveva messo un piede sulla corda: Cena si distrae e perde il match. Il 18 gennaio del 2004, John Cena e Chris Benoit, combattono in coppia contro gli FBI (Nunzio, Palumbo e Stamboli) vincendo. A Smackdown!, la settimana successiva, Cena affronta e sconfigge Rhyno, ma poi ha una grossa sorpresa per Paul Heyman. L'ex proprietario della ECW viene intrappolato nella sharpshooter da Chris Benoit, giunto sul ring chiamato da Cena, mentre il rapper gli lava la bocca con il sapone.

Con linizio del 2005 la sua popolarit? aumenta ancora di pi?, ed ogni suo ingresso nelle arene ? caratterizzato da autentici boati della folla, rendendolo di fatto il face pi? acclamato dellintero roster di Smackdown e forse dellintera WWE. Dopo una breve serie di incontri con Rene Dupree e Kenzo Suzuki, alla Royal Rumble 2005 (30 gennaio) pesca il numero 25, ed ? lultimo eliminato nel corso di un rocambolesco finale: rimasto solo nel ring con Batista, i due si eliminano simultaneamente a vicenda, e le divergenze di opinione fra gli arbitri non permettono di determinare con chiarezza un vincitore; c? bisogno dellintervento di Vince McMahon in persona (che semplicemente entrando sul ring si procura un serio infortunio al ginocchio), che ordina di riprendere il match, che dopo due minuti e mezzo termina a favore di Batista. Sfumata lopportunit? di vincere una title shot per Wrestlemania, a John resta comunque la consolazione di una ottima prestazione, con leliminazione di giganti del calibro di Kane e Viscera.

Nel corso del feud JBL si avvale anche dellaiuto del suo staff, ed in particolare di Orlando Jordan, che il primo marzo a Smackdown riesce a strappare, in modo sporco, a Cena la cintura degli Stati Uniti. E solo una delle tante scintille dellintero feud, che vede anche la distruzione della limousine di JBL da parte di John ed il suo conseguente arresto nel corso di un match contro il rientrante Carlito Caribbean Cool. Si arriva al punto che il GM Long (anche lui vittima della F-U di Cena) ordina al rapper bostoniano di non colpire JBL al di fuori del ring ed in mancanza di una provocazione fisica, pena la sua esclusione dal match di Wrestlemania, cosa che non accade, in quando John riesce, seppur decisamente malvolentieri, a resistere agli sberleffi di JBL fino alla serata di Wrestlemania XXI. Nel pay-per-view pi? importante dellanno il loro incontro ? francamente assai deludente, ed in poco pi? di 11 minuti Cena riesce a mettere a segno la F-U che gli vale la vittoria ed il suo primo titolo WWE.

Dopo Wrestlemania, Teddy Long annuncia un nuovo torneo per determinare il suo sfidante, ma nel frattempo la rivalit? con JBL va avanti, con un divertente siparietto nel corso di Smackdown, con lex campione che intercetta un pacco destinato a Cena credendo che allinterno vi fosse la nuova cintura customizzata di campione WWE, trovandovi invece solo della carne di fegato, lo stesso fegato che, a detta di Cena, non ? certo una caratteristica del suo avversario.

La sua prima difesa in un pay-per-view ? a Judgement Day (22 maggio), contro il vincitore del gi? citato torneo, che guarda caso ? proprio JBL. La contesa viene stipulata come un I quit match, e dunque ? abbastanza violenta; alla fine prevale Cena, che per? riesce a mantenere il titolo a caro prezzo, terminando l'incontro (come il suo avversario, del resto) in unautentica maschera di sangue.

World Wrestling Entertainment's (WWE) star performer and champion John Cena will be see in Mumbai on 9th and 10th of February, courtesy of Ten Sports.

To those of you who are scratching your heads wondering who John Cena is?

Well to cut a long story short he is the biggest phenomenon that has hit the world of wrestling in the recent past.  Sporting baggy jean shorts and a throwback jersey, Cena is not your traditional stereotype wrestler and will often get amped up signaling the end for his victims by pumping up his kicks leading to him dropping his trademark

Cena has also taken time out from the ring and released his debut rap album, 'You can't see me'.

Wrestler, rapper and it doesn't end there. 2006 will also see Cena play the lead role in the major motion picture -- The Marine.

Cena's fan zone is another marvel that has taken aback the WWE in total surprise. Cena however has a different take on this subject. Cena has dubbed his fans as members of his crew -- The Chaingang.

Before Cena took up wrestling, he was an All-American football player at Springfield College and a successful bodybuilder. A dedicated WWE fan, Cena watched from the bleachers as his heroes Hulk Hogan, Ultimate Warrior, Shawn Michaels and Bret Hart competed. He left college to join a wrestling school and quickly began working as an Ultimate Pro Wrestler. The rest, as they, is history.

Ten Sports, launched in April 2002, is available in over 30 million households via cable and satellite networks in India.

In just a short span of three years, Ten Sports has also become the world's biggest producer of international cricket.
